Cvonline.lt has been updated!

The new www.cvonline.lt website is faster, more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use.

What you’ll find on the new website?

  • Simplified design for more effective browsing

A thorough analysis of the employers and job seekers using our site gave us a much clearer idea of their needs and expectations. The user’s journey through our new website corresponds with the ideal visitor flow.

  • Enter your CV in 6 easy steps

After analysing employers’ expectations for their candidate CVs, we prepared a much shorter and more goal-oriented CV form. Job seekers now only need to provide essential information, without being required to fill in the extra details that no-one has the time or inclination to read.

  • Job ads attuned to the expectations of job seekers

We know what factors prompt job seekers to submit their applications, which is why our job ads are now designed to show the information most relevant to them.

  • Convenient candidate searches of the CV database

We learned how employers search for suitable candidates in the CV database, and made the new search interface simpler and more convenient for users.

  • Optimised for mobile devices

The new website has been optimised for mobile devices, because more than half our customers use their phones to browse it.

“Most people view change with some degree of suspicion, but it is only a matter of time until the new becomes the familiar.”

Job Seeker FAQ

  • Unable to log in

Most common causes:

Incorrect username

The old version of the website required users to log in with a username. However, in the new website, a username is only required for the first log in and users simply provide their email address, i.e. the username in the new system is the user’s email address.

Two (or more) user accounts with the same email address will be merged

In our new system, a user can register only one user account for each unique email address. Multiple accounts registered to the same email address will be merged and only one username will be valid; namely, the email address.

Logging in to the new website

First, log in with your old Cvonline.lt username and password. If you don’t remember your log in details, send an email to info@cvonline.lt and we will send you a password reminder.

When you log in to the new system for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password and your new username will become your email address. If you forget to change your password during the first login session, you may use the password reminder function.

First login to the new system ---> old Cvonline.lt username and password.

Subsequent logins to the new system ---> new Cvonline.lt username, i.e. your email address.

  • Cover letters are missing

The new website has no pre-saved cover letters, so please

contact CV-Online Customer Support at: pagalba@cvonline.lt.

  • Incomplete information on my CV

Based on employers’ feedback, we know that certain sections of the old CV form, such as the candidate’s personal qualities and interests, have no impact on their hiring decisions. Instead, hiring decisions are based on the candidate’s skills, previous work experience and performance during the job interview.

Accordingly, we have optimised the CV form in our new system, leaving only the information employers consider to be most important, so as to simplify and speed up their selection process.

However, you may still include your personal qualities and interests in your cover letter if you prefer. You can also add extra files in the “additional information” section of the new CV form.

or

Contact CV-Online Customer Support at: pagalba@cvonline.lt and we will send you a PDF of your CV from the old website.

  • Unable to find the job ads you posted

If your company has alias companies, they will be listed as subsidiaries. The parent company will not have any job listings – instead, they will be posted in the alias company’s name. To view these job ads, look for the subsidiary company account in your company settings.

  • Can’t find the option to include a URL-based ad

The default settings do not allow customers to use URL-based job ads. If you would prefer to use a URL-based ad, contact CV-Online Customer Support at: pagalba@cvonline.lt.

  • Unable to change the ad’s job title

It is not possible to change the job title in an existing ad. If you need to change the job title, this can only be done in the database itself so you should contact CV-Online Customer Support at: pagalba@cvonline.lt.

  • Ad cannot be posted or is deactivated

Log in to your account and check if the services are still active and valid, then try posting the ad again. If this doesn’t work, contact CV-Online Customer Support at: pagalba@cvonline.lt.
